Step Three: Monitor and Protect the Trademark
Now that the trademark application was filed in Step Two, the mark should be protected.
What does it mean to protect the mark? It is possible that others will try to register a mark that is similar to your mark.
As the owner of a registered mark, there is only a certain period of time to object to another's similar registration.
The important step is to search for new
trademark applications that can possibly interfere with your mark.
The
firm will write a report and discuss options to object to new, similar applications to the registration. Call or send an e-mail to discuss these services with the firm.
